Meet kelly

The founder of Brick + Ivory Bridal Studio who adores helping you find a wow-worthy wedding dress

I grew up in German Village on Third Street, just around the corner from Brick + Ivory. A decade ago, I walked past an abandoned art studio on City Park Avenue and said, “This should be a bridal shop.” I’ve always had a passion for weddings and fashion and hoped to transition to the industry one day. When that same property went up for sale in 2023, my family & I decided to make that dream a reality.

After purchasing the space, we learned that a couple, Edmund & Liese Kuehn, lived there together from 1952 until 2023 when Liese passed. He was an artist and used the first floor as his personal studio, Liese often serving as inspiration for his work.

We opened Brick + Ivory in 2024 and intentionally renovated the space to pay homage to the previous owners’ 6-decade-long love story and artistic talents. When you visit the studio, we hope you can feel the creativity and love in the space. It’s part of what makes our shopping experience so special.
